Our Spine Care Program
More patients are referred for outpatient physical therapy for spinal related problems more than any other problem on an annual basis. Often times, the problem is recurrent.
This is commonly due to the fact that only the symptoms of the problem were addressed or inadequate patient education was provided.

Fowlerville Physical Therapy Specialists can provide you with a PT program if you are suffering from spinal pain that incorporates all of these components.
- We use various modalities (incl. mechanical traction) when indicated for pain / symptom reduction
- We use all forms of manual therapy as indicated including Soft tissue mobilization/ MFR, Joint mobilization and Osteopathic tech.s . All of our PTs are either certified in manual therapy or have received advanced
- We develop an inpidualized exercise program for every patient commonly including Norwegian stabilization exercises and postural exercsies
- We devote time educating you re. the nature of your problem and how to successfully self manage your condition 24/7 ( at home and at work) and resume normal functional activities.
This approach ensures that you will not only derive initial pain relief, but also optimal long term benefits
Of note, we are part of the PTPN Spine Program which is a national network of PT practices recognized for their expertise and specialized training in managing back and neck pain.
