TMJ Pain & Headache Program
There are a number of reasons a person may present with TMJ (Jaw) / Facial Pain. In addition, the most common 2nd complaint that this person will have are Headaches related to the TMJ condition or the Cervical Spine.
Reasons for these complaints include joint dysfunction, over activity of the facial muscles while related factors often include stress, sleep disturbance and upper quadrant postural issues.
A specially trained Physical Therapist, working with the person’s dentist, can help this patient significantly. John Dean DPT had the opportunity to work with one of the foremost authorities in the U.S. on Facial Pain while working at the Univ. Of Michigan Dental School several years ago and in turn has helped numerous patients successfully manage and treat their TMJ condition.
